I recently removed one calendar and added it back because I was getting a SimplePie error. I figured it was probably just a Google issue. I thought everything was working fine but now realize that the Upcoming Events module is sometimes showing the upcoming events and at other times showing the first X number of earliest events available (just happens to be from Dec '08).

This seems to happen randomly as I cannot figure out a pattern of clicks around the site that causes it to do this. I have toggled the cache for this mod, the cCal mod and Joomla itself. I have cleared the cahce in Joomla, my browser and tried multiple browsers. I don't know how to create the issue on demand but it happens very frequently, seemingly every few visit.

I'm stumped. Has anyone else experienced this?

are the calendars selected in the module parameters? this means they must be highlighted blue, just to be sure select them again and press apply.....

They were selected. I've tried deselecting and reselecting and applying/saving and continue to get inconsistent results. The display now almost always shows the first(old) events from the selected calendar.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the module with no luck. I did a local clean install of Joomla and gcal and also got the same result.

I'm wondering if this may have something to do with recurring events as I have a lot of them.


I'm desperate to get this fixed as I'm scheduled to present the site to local area merchants and groups to try to convince them to utilize this but I have no chance of succeeding if I don't get this working correctly.

The same thing has started happening with my site. I noticed it a couple of days ago, I don't see a cause yet other than I'm officially into my second calendar month running the calendar and having the gcalendar module installed.

Http://www.franklinny.org is the site. I have several gcalendars selected and when I selected only one calendar it showed the first 5 events it could find, not the next 5 based on date.

was it working before?? I think we have to wait till google has fixed this problem

but when I browse the site www.franklinny.org it looks quite ok...
