I am trying to update my components to fix the display bugs in Safari. I am sort of a Joomla noob, so if anyone could reply with any insight about how to actually upgrade to the new version 2.1.4 I would very much appreciate it. The readme file mentions extracting the zip to the Joomla root, but I must be doing something wrong. I am afraid of trying to uninstall my existing components because of how much trouble I initially had in making this thing work. Are there any more detailed instructions about how to upgrade safely? I've made some necessary style adjustments that I'd like to retain, but it is more important that I get this working in Safari.
Thanks.

Thanks for the reply....looks like I got it working by manually replacing the files on the server. It is functioning in Safari now.
