Description
All major release, this means versions like 2.1.0 or 2.2.0, will contain some new features. All minor relases, this means versions like 2.1.1 or 2.1.2 or 2.2.1, are bug fix releases to stabilize this branch. This means that sometimes it is not possible to provide upgrade packages between major releases. This is a common software version development pattern.
GCalendar 2.2.x (no date set)
One of the main aims of this release is to support user based access rules, this means it will depend heavily on the new joomla 1.6 ACL mechanism. To take full advantage of this new joomla feature we have to wait till joomla 1.6 stable is released.
This release will also drive GCalendar further to enhance the configuration and simplify it. Also some new features will be included and the backend administration should have more possibility's to administer your google calendar. One of the most important features will be the async loading functionality for the calendar component and module....

GCalendar 2.1.x (19.06.2009)
This release is the next step to have a more customized output for google calendars. This means all the configuration options from the embed helper will be added to GCalendar. The progress of this release can be found in the issue 111 comments.
This branch doesn't support joomla 1.0.x any more!!
GCalendar 2.0.x (17.12.2008)
The 2.0 branch is a first step to enhance the output of google calendars and to make GCalendar more robust than before. To increase the stability Simplepie was used to read the calendar event feeds.
