G4J will take a winter nap after releasing GAnalytics 0.6.0 and GCalendar 2.1.4. The snowboard season is coming soon and there is now the right moment to take some time off.

The snow is almost in my altitude here in the Swiss mountains, I can see it every day. This means the snowboard season is starting soon and I will take a break from coding till 2010. It was a busy autumn and I need some time off to get new energy for this project. This means NOT that G4J is dead! I hope to find also new contributors which are helping me out in the forum or writing documentation.

I will also welcome iamwaggle in the G4J team. He will help developing new features for the version 2.2.0.

It looks like GCalendar is now pretty stable, the discussions in the forum are mostly about how to adjust the appearance of GCalendar. That we can start with GCalendar 2.2.0 we have to wait till joomla 1.6 is out, because 2.2.0 will have heavy dependencies to the new ACL mechanism.

GAnalytics has a feature set which should satisfy most of the users, this means not that there is nothing to do anymore. But it is ok for now.

See you in 2010, in fresh shape and with new power.....
