In the GCalendar component you can specify an XML Url. This Url will be used by the GCalendar upcoming events module to read the next events from a google calendar.
To install and first time usage of GCalendar follow the instructions below (for joomla 1.0 installations is the routine the same as described below).

- Download the latest version of the GCalendar suite and extract the content to somewhere in your file system. You will find a mod_gcalendar_upcoming_xxx.zip file. In your joomla backend administration area install the module via Extensions -> Install/Uninstall.
- Specify the name of an existing joomla GCalendar (this name must be identical with the one you created in the GCalendar calendars).

Your calendar must be shared for all people, you have to set on your calendar settings the option "Share all information on this calendar with everyone".

Use the private xml address of your google calendar as your xml in the GCalendar calendar configuration.

The module parameters control the appearance of your google calendar at a module position.

Here you can overwrite the timezone in which the event details should be displayed and define the cache time of the events.
